Pearson Level 2 Travel and Tourism

The Pearson Level 2 Travel and Tourism qualification is an engaging course designed to introduce students to the dynamic and diverse travel and tourism industry. By exploring core concepts and completing assignments, students develop essential knowledge and skills to thrive in this fast-paced sector. The course includes three mandatory units and one optional unit, with Unit 1 assessed through an external examination.

What We Do

We deliver the Pearson Level 2 Travel and Tourism qualification with a focus on providing a comprehensive understanding of the industry. The program includes:

  • Unit 1 (Mandatory - Examined): The UK Travel and Tourism Sector
    Students explore the structure of the travel and tourism industry, including key organizations, the scale of the sector, and its contribution to the economy. This unit is assessed through an external examination.
  • Unit 2 (Mandatory): UK Travel and Tourism Destinations
    Students identify and investigate popular destinations within the UK, considering their appeal and suitability for different customer types.
  • Unit 3 (Mandatory): The Travel and Tourism Customer Experience
    This unit examines the importance of customer service in travel and tourism. Students will learn about customer needs and expectations, and how businesses in the industry deliver excellent service to enhance the customer experience.
  • Optional Unit: International Travel and Tourism Destinations
    Students study key international destinations, analyzing their appeal and suitability for different types of customers, as well as factors influencing international travel.
