Transport

For the majority of our students getting themselves to school independently is the norm and actively encouraged, however, very occasionally transport by the Local Authority is provided. This is dependent on a range of factors but in the first instance a student may be eligible if:

• Links Academy is more than 3 miles away from home
• They are unable to walk/access public transport to school independently

If you are not sure if your child meets the criteria or you have any queries reading transport to school, please get in touch with our Transport Lead Ms Wallace who will assist.

Students are also able to apply for Saver cards if they live in Hertfordshire and are aged 11-19 which will provide discounted travel throughout the year.
