Uniform

Uniform to Wear

Whilst attending the Links Academy, all children must adhere to the Uniform Dress Code, and will be expected to wear the following:

Pale blue polo shirts
Navy blue sweatshirt (without hood)
Black school trousers, school tailored shorts or skirt (plain; similar to those worn in mainstream schools). Skirts must be of a suitable length, ie. no mini skirts
Black shoes or plain black trainers (no logos or colours)
School Fleece (optional between 1st November to 31st March)

Any child taking part in PE sessions either on the Academy premises or off site will have the option to wear the following:

Children are not permitted to wear the following inside the building:

Hats
Outside or Hooded coats/jackets
Gloves
Leggings
Smart watches
Jewellery including bracelets, rings and necklaces
Smart glasses

These rules are very important to ensure the safety and respect of children within the Academy.

Should a child arrive at Links Academy with inappropriate clothing, parents/carers will be contacted in order to bring in suitable items, or permission for them to be sent home. Alternatively, a child will be expected to wear a temporary uniform for the day.

We actively encourage you to source your own polo and sweatshirts in the required plain colours (no logos other than Links Academy logo will be permitted) from supermarkets or department stores.

Additional sweatshirts can be purchased from Links Multi Academy trust at £14 each.
